Foundation History
Al Rajhi Group was formed in 1936 by the late Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi and over the years the group has been expanded significantly by the four sons:
The late Sheikh Saleh Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi
The late Sheikh Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi
Sheikh Suleiman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi
The late Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi
The Chairman
Mr. Abdulateef Abdullah Al Rajhi is the Chairman of Al Rajhi Group Holding Co..
Mr. Al Rajhi contributes his wealth, width and depth of 25+ years of experience in banking and in finance in leadership roles with worldwide leaders such as Visa/Mastercard and Al Rajhi Bank – the world’s largest Islamic financing bank.
He is a member of the Board of Directors at Al-Rajhi Holding Group and Bank Audi Syria.
He also continues to spearhead philanthropic endeavors, such as: founding the Saudi Food Bank "Ita'am“, founding the Food Bank Bahrain "Conserving Bounties“ and, being a Board Member at the Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation.
Mr. Al Rajhi holds an EMBA from the American University of Beirut.
